Connecting to Bank Accounts

After you create a Pry account, you will be prompted to this Get Started page to connect your financial accounts. Under 'Use Pry for bookkeeping' section, click "Sync with Bank Account" to connect your bank accounts and credit cards.

Creating and managing Financial Accounts

Accessing accounts

To access your accounts page, click on the user icon on the top right > Accounts. You will see a list of your connected accounts here.

Adding more accounts

To add more accounts(i.e. new bank account/credit card), on the Accounts page, click on the "Add Account" blue button on the right to add a new account.

Renaming accounts

To rename accounts, on the Accounts page, click on the title of the account name to start renaming it.

Hiding personal accounts

To hide accounts you don't want to include on your financial report(i.e. personal), on the Accounts page, toggle off the status next to the account(s) you want to hide.

Disconnecting accounts

To disconnect accounts, on the Accounts page, click on the gear icon to the right of the Balance amount > click Disconnect Account. A new window will pop up to confirm the account(s) to be disconnected. Click "Disconnect Plaid Accounts" to proceed.


  • Account does not exist - if your account does not show up after connecting via Plaid, double check the login to make sure the account is under the correct login. If you've entered the correct login and it's still not pulling your account on Pry, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
  • Account is not up to date - if your account is not up to date, the status should be red with an exclamation mark. Click on it and it will prompt you to re-enter your login credentials to refresh the connection. If you need assistance, please email [email protected].
